Join us on board the Waka Hourua ‘Tairāwhiti’ (historic canoe) for an experience like no other.
Get involved, “buddy up” with crew members to learn traditional sailing and wayfinding skills out in the bay. We’ll need all hands on deck to steer and sail our 22 m / 72 ft waka!

Time: 3 Hours
Sailing Experiences run for 3 hours most Saturdays at 9.30am.
Cost: $75 Per Person - Only 15 tickets available per session!
Months of operation: December, January, February, March, April.
What to bring: Warm clothing, comfortable footwear, sun hat, sunglasses, camera.
No High heels / stilettos.
